Dimensions Of Discipleship
True discipleship is holistic: we can’t be content to be growing in some areas and lacking in other areas. Jesus engaged with people expecting that their discipleship would touch all aspects of their life, relationships, and even society as a whole.
The progression of becoming increasingly more like Jesus - living, loving, serving, helping others become followers of Jesus - is our responsibility as well as our identity as a people.
We continue to grow in knowing, being and doing. We are transformed and transforming. We move toward wholehearted commitment to God and his Kingdom. The process of discipleship is life-on-life, face-to-face, and hand-in-hand. Together with others, we are invited to join Jesus in the ongoing journey of faith.
