The Gospel Of Mark Small-Group

Starts: Wednesday, September 15, 9:30AM, GCC Library

Summary: The Gospel of Mark chronicles Jesus's journey from Galilee to Jerusalem. Along the way, the Messiah gathers a ragged band of disciples. As crowds grow and dwindle on the road to Jerusalem, only a few stick by the Suffering Savior on the road of discipleship.

Cults, Heresies, and Pseudo-Christian Religions Small-Group

Starts: Wednesday, September 15, 3PM, Zoom (for now)

Summary: We will be looking at common (and some not-so-common) Cults and Pseudo-Christian religions we regularly encounter, like Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, New Age, Progressive Christianity and more. We will evaluate their erroneous teachings, and correct them using the Bible.  We will also discuss possible ways to share the Gospel with those stuck in these organizations.

How to Get Through What You’re Going Through

Starts: This Group Has Now Been Postponed Until Next Year

Summary: Pastor Rick and Kay Warren will help you understand the journey of grief and what to expect along the way. From the initial shock, to the unbearable sorrow, you struggle with reality and ultimately surrender on a pathway to peace and service. It's not a linear experience but with God's Word and his ways, he will carry you through it. Grief is God's tool for you getting through the transitions of life. You can have hope knowing God is in control, he will bring good out of bad, and he has a plan to use your pain for a purpose.
